Art Institute of Jacksonville

The Art Institute of Jacksonville was a multi-project, multi-story educational facility. The first phase of the project was a Design-Build Tenant Improvement project converting about 50,000 square feet of existing office space into classrooms, administration, and culinary art area including two kitchens.

The second phase of the project was a 1,550 square foot Tenant Fit-Up for a Dining Lab. The project consisted of an Instructional Dining Lab, Chef’s Office, and some common areas.

The third phase of the project was a 1,960 square foot Tenant Fit-Up for a Video Studio. The project consisted of an Instructional Video Studio, a Video Control Room, Technical Room, and storage. The spaces were mechanically heated and cooled by a powered induction terminal unit with primary air provided by a variable volume direct expansion rooftop unit.
