Fast-growing Conway & Owen hires Noman Khan,
David Glenn, Joe Shaffer and Jennifer Abbott.

ATLANTA , May 11, 2006/ Conway & Owen is proud to announce four new additions to the staff: Noman Khan, P.E., Principal Electrical Engineer ; David Glenn, Senior Mechanical Project Manager; Joe Shaffer, Principal Mechanical Engineer; and Jennifer Abbott, Office Manager.

Noman Khan serves as a principal electrical engineer for Conway & Owen. With more than 14 years of experience in the electrical engineering industry, Mr. Khan has a proven track record of consistently exceeding client expectations with result-oriented projects. He represents Conway & Owen in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), holds a national certificate with NCEES and is a registered professional engineer in three states. Additionally, Mr. Khan has worked on Platinum and Gold LEED-certified projects. Born in Pakistan and raised in Georgia , Mr. Khan is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.

David Glenn is a senior mechanical project manager with Conway & Owen. He has over five years of industry experience meeting contractor deadlines and achieving profitability and growth goals. Prior to joining Conway & Owen he worked for Barrett Woodyard & Associates where he was a mechanical engineer in charge of designing HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems. Mr. Glenn is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree and is a current member of ASHRAE.

Joe Shaffer is a principal mechanical engineer with Conway & Owen. He has over seven years of industry experience handling engineering duties such as systems design, equipment selection, computer drafting, construction administration and site visits. Prior to joining Conway & Owen he managed the Fairhope, Alabama office of H.M. Yonge & Associates. Mr. Shaffer is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is licensed as a Professional Engineer by the Alabama Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.

Jennifer Abbott serves as the office manager for Conway & Owen. She has over 12 years of experience working for companies across many different industries including general contracting. Ms. Abbott is responsible for all accounting and HR functions for Conway & Owen. Born in Ohio , Ms. Abbott has lived in Georgia for over 15 years and has one daughter.
